Diablo Ballet’s 2017-18 Season

In the hope that you’ll enjoy a relaxed and entertaining afternoon or evening at Diablo Ballet,
here are tips on how to make the best of your visit.

Our November, February & May performances are held at the Del Valle Theatre at 1963 Tice Valley Boulevard in Walnut Creek.

Our March performance takes place at the Lesher Center for the Arts at 1601 Civic Drive in downtown Walnut Creek.

Will Call tickets may be collected at the Ticket Office at both venues.

Both venues are wheelchair accessible.  Young children are welcome, however, youth ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

1601 Civic Drive, on the corner of Locust Street in Walnut Creek

From Oakland/SF:

Take Highway 24 to 680 North
Exit at Ygnacio Valley Road
Turn Right off exit
Turn Right onto California Blvd.
Turn Left onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking garage is on your right

From San Jose:

Take Highway 680 North
Exit at Olympic Blvd.
Turn Right onto Olympic from exit
Turn Left onto California Blvd.
Turn Right onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking garage is on your right

From Concord/Sacramento:

Take 680 South
Exit at Walnut Creek/North Main Street, go toward South Main Street
Go straight, staying right toward California Blvd.
Turn Left onto Civic Drive
Turn Right onto Locust Street, the parking garage is on your right

Walking Directions from the Walnut Creek BART Station:

Go south on North California Boulevard (behind the Target Store) for about 3/4 mile (crossing Lacassie Avenue, and then Cole Avenue).
As you walk along North California Boulevard you will be able to see the Lesher Center lighted marquee listing upcoming events at the Center.
Turn left onto Civic Drive where you’ll find the Ticket Office and the main entrance under the portico.

DIRECTIONS & PARKING AT THE DEL VALLE THEATRE

From the South (Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton, San Jose)

Go North on Highway 680. Take the Olympic Blvd. Exit. Turn left on to Olympic Blvd. and go approximately one mile to Tice Valley Blvd and turn left. Ta­ke the first driveway on the right, which is approximately a block and a half down the road on the right. There is a huge sign preceding the driveway marked “Acalanes Adult Education” at the top with a full list of facilities at that location, including Del Valle Theatre (If you hit the entrance to Rossmoor, you’ve gone too far down Tice Valley Blvd.). Drive up the hill and park to the right. You’ll see the back end of the theatre down to the left.

From the North (Concord, Martinez, Benicia) Go South on Highway 680. Take the Olympic Boulevard exit. Turn right on to Olympic Blvd. and go approximately one mile to Tice Valley Blvd and turn left. Take the first driveway on the right, which is approximately a block and a half down the road on the right. Drive up the hill and park to the right. You’ll see the back end of the theatre down to the left.

From the West (Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco) Go East on Highway 24 through the Caldecott Tunnel. Take the Pleasant Hill Road exit and turn right on Pleasant Hill Road. A few blocks down, the street dead ends. Turn left then go approximately one mile to Tice Valley Blvd. and turn right. Take the first driveway on the right, which is approximately a block and a half down the road on the right. There is a huge sign preceding the driveway marked “Acalanes Adult Education” at the top with a full list of facilities at that location, including Del Valle Theatre (If you hit the entrance to Rossmoor, you’ve gone too far down Tice Valley Blvd.). Drive up the hill and park to the right. You’ll see the back end of the theatre down to the left.

From the East (Pittsburg, Antioch, Brentwood) Go West on Highway 4 to 680 South. Go South on Highway 680. Take the Olympic Boulevard exit. Turn right on to Olympic Blvd. and go approximately one mile to Tice Valley Blvd and turn left. Take the first driveway on the right, which is approximately a block and a half down the road on the right. There is a huge sign preceding the driveway marked “Acalanes Adult Education” at the top with a full list of facilities at that location, including Del Valle Theatre (If you hit the entrance to Rossmoor, you’ve gone too far down Tice Valley Blvd.). Drive up the hill and park to the right. You’ll see the back end of the theatre down to the left. From the Lesher Center: Head east on Locust Street, away from Civic Drive, and turn right on Olympic. Continue on Olympic for 1.2 miles and then turn left on Tice Valley Blvd. Take the first driveway on the right, which is approximately a block and a half down the road on the right. There is a huge sign preceding the driveway marked “Acalanes Adult Education” at the top with a full list of facilities at that location, including Del Valle Theatre (If you hit the entrance to Rossmoor, you’ve gone too far down Tice Valley Blvd.). Drive up the hill and park to the right. You’ll see the back end of the theatre down to the left.
