Diablo Ballet celebrates the new year with the second program of our season, Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding.
Tickets are on sale through the Lesher Center for the Arts ticket office. Purchases can be made online, by calling (925) 943-SHOW or in person at the ticket office. An Early Bird Discount is available for Adult tickets purchased through Wednesday, 01/10/2024. Ticket prices will go up on Thursday, 01/11/2024.

Lesher Center Ticket office is the only official purchase point for Diablo Ballet’s tickets. Purchases through a third party site will not guarantee entrance or seating at our performances. Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding performs on February 9 at 7:30 pm and on February 10 at 2 pm & 7:30 pm. The performance runs 1 hour and 30 minutes with one intermission. For the full performance playbill, click here.
Sleeping Beauty’s Wedding

The romantic Act III from the enchanting ballet The Sleeping Beauty comes to life this February. Come celebrate the royal wedding of Princess Aurora and Prince Desire with the jeweled fairies: Diamond, Gold, Silver, Sapphire, and the Lilac Fairy and her attendants. Also joining the celebration are fairy-tale characters including Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Prince Charming, and the Bluebirds who all dance for the happy couple in a joyous finale, featuring the whole company and students from Diablo Ballet School.

Award-winning choreographer Penny Saunders has been commissioned to create a ballet dedicated to one of the Ballet’s beloved and treasured friends Mari Cyphers, who passed away in 2022.

Choreography: Gerald Arpino
An encore performance of Confetti which the company premiered March 2023. This energetic, virtuoso ballet for three couples and their festive tambourines was first performed in February 1970.
