Diablo Ballet will celebrate its 28th Season with a return to the stage this November to celebrate the holidays with Julia Adam’s expanded version of her magical, The Nutcracker Suite which will include students from Diablo Ballet School. Next February brings a world premiere of Cinderella’s Wedding by Julia Adam, the Diablo Ballet premiere of Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux by George Balanchine and a new work by company dancer Michael Wells. In April the company celebrates its 28th Anniversary with ballets from Penny Saunders, Val Caniparoli, Bruno Roque, Stanton Welch and an encore performance from Flames of Paris featuring the whole company, followed by a Gala Dinner with the dancers. The season ends next May with the full-length ballet Coppélia which will include students from Diablo Ballet School and accompanied live by the Diablo Symphony Orchestra.
Performances will be in-person at the Lesher Center for the Arts. A virtual presentation for each of our programs will be available. Season Subscriptions are available now.
