DRESS CODE

WHERE TO PURCHASE:
All Dancewear (including Gentlemen’s shoes) are available for purchase here. Diablo Ballet School has worked directly with Eurotard to make your purchases as easy and affordable as possible.

Diablo Ballet School’s uniform and ladies shoes are available to try on and purchase at Contra Costa Dancewear at: 675 Ygnacio Valley Road, Suite B104, Walnut Creek, CA 94596.

DRESS CODE BY LEVEL:
*Please note that the dress code does not apply for the Adult Ballet class, however you are welcome to purchase through the website for all your dancewear needs.

LADIES:
For all classes: Hair should be completely off the face and forehead in a tight and secure bun with a hairnet and no scrunchies.

Pre-Ballet 1 & 2 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Style: Bloch S0205 – Dansoft Ballet Slipper Leather Full sole).

Ballet Level 1 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Style: Bloch S0205 – Dansoft Ballet Slipper Leather Full sole).

Ballet Level 2 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Style: Bloch S0203 Prolite II Hybrid, Leather, split sole).

Ballet Level 3 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Style: Bloch S0203 Prolite II Hybrid, Leather, split sole).

Ballet Level 4 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Style: Bloch S0203 Prolite II Hybrid, Leather, split sole). Black shorts and black classic wrap skirt are optional.

Ballet Level 5 students are required to wear black leotards and pink (preferred) or skin toned tights with pink ballet shoes (Bloch S0203 Prolite II Hybrid, Leather, split sole). Black shorts and black classic wrap skirt are optional.

*Ballet Levels 4 (if already on pointe) & 5 can purchase new pointe shoes, through Contra Costa Dancewear. For Level 4 students that may be starting pointe work, there will be a parent/student meeting announced in September. Attendance at the meeting is necessary before the purchase of pointe shoes. Please do not sew ribbons and elastics on new shoes until the fit has been approved by one of Diablo Ballet School’s Level 4 or 5 teachers.

GENTLEMEN:
Boys – up to age 13 are required to wear white fitted tops, black shorts, white ankle socks and Tendu full sole Leather Ballet shoes in White.

Boys – 14 and up are required to wear white fitted tops, black footed tights, white ankle socks, tan (or nude) colored dance belt and Assemble Split sole Canvas Ballet shoes in White.

*Please note that the dress code does not apply for the Adult Ballet class.
