Diablo Ballet is pleased to be the first professional dance company to open our Pinterest picture boards up to the whole dance world.
We believe that dance is a universal language. A jete in Beijing, China will be the same as a jete in Trinidad and Tobago. We want to help this very special community share its love of dance.
Diablo Ballet has been on Pinterest for four months. In that short amount of time, we’ve created (at last count) 25 Pinteret boards on a variety of topics. Some come to look at the career of Mikhail Baryshnikov, some like the DIY dance crafts, some like the pictures of animals dancing. And now, we’re inviting the world to post their dance pictures on our boards.
How can you become an official Diablo Ballet pinner? Simple!

This idea came from the great and sometimes crazy mind of Ashley, our great social; media assistant. We were talking about how to engage our Pinterest followers and she came up with this great idea. She’s also the one who adds all those cool pics of Anna Pavlova and food that looks like pointe shoes. Here’s a pic of Ashley and some cookies she made. No. They don’t look like Gelsey Kirkland.
Welcome world to Diablo Ballet’s Pinterest boards. Now…show us what makes you dance.
